A classic boat compass by Simpson-Lawrence in a traditional wooden transit/presentation case with brass fittings. A lovely fluid filled compass with dampened compass card. Card markings are numbered every 30 degrees, with large marks every 10 degrees and 1/2 marks every 5 degrees (see photos). It is fully gimballed and swings freely in its support arm. The glass is clear bar a very minor pen mark (see photo, you'll need to look hard) This will make a nice main steering compass or secondary down at the navigators table.
