That said, I’m certainly not the best buggy driver around - I still manage to hit the walls when coming through my own front door! I had trouble getting the carrycot off the chassis. It’s super easy to slot in, but once that carrycot’s on, I can’t move it. My husband can remove it without any hassles, but if you’re short and don’t have much upper body strength, it’s a bit difficult. The weight is another downside with the Silver Cross Linear Freeway. While the chassis is just 6.6kg, the carrycot is pretty heavy, which could be the reason why I hard trouble removing it from the chassis. Also, to pack the buggy in the boot, you need to remove the carrycot, which is a bit annoying and also means you need a car boot that’s a reasonable size.
