Picture quality is astonishing with great contrast. Price is OVNO. Manufacturer's description: The 180mm f/2.8 is Sigma's flagship large aperture telephoto macro lens. It's the worlds first 180mm optically stabilized telephoto macro lens that offers effective correction of approximately 4 stops. This high perfomance Lens features three FLD ("F" Low Dispersion) glass lenses that have a performance equal to fluorite ensure exceptional correction of axial chromatic aberration and lateral chromatic aberration. A floating inner focusing system moves two different lens groups in the optical path to different positions. This system compensates for astigmatism and distortion and provides extremely high optical performance from infinity to 1:1 macro. The overall length does not change during focusing, ensuring convenient handling. Metal parts are used in the lens barrel ensuring high durability of the body. Optical Stabilizer (OS) This is the first 180mm optically stabilized telephoto macro lens in the world and offers effective correction of approximately 4 stops. Sigma EX DG APO HSM II Macro mm f/2.8 Lens

Selling my Sigma mm f2.8 APO EX DG Macro telephoto lens. Canon fit. This is a truly fantastic lens and produces some excellent shots. I have owned this lens for approx. 2.5 years and it has had light use mainly used at BSB and IOM TT races. What can I say about it? Absolutely fantastic condition....no marks, glass is 100% scratch free, no fungus, and I cannot see any dust in the lens (but please be appreciative under a microscope there might be some as this is a used lens...) The lens is the non image stabiliser option (or OS as Sigma call it). I can honestly say to you that OS is or course a benefit but don't let that put you off as it produces stunning pictures with crystal clear results. The last image was taken at Silverstone Moto GP and was also using my 1.4 teleconverter therefore you can take a few stops out of the image. The only reason I am selling is I have just upgraded to a Canon 400mm prime.

Here for sale is my Sigma mm F2.8 APO EX DG OS lens, Nikon mount. It has had a Lenscoat on since I first bought it and is in tip top / excellent condition. It comes in it's original box with soft case and instruction manual. This very fast lens is capable of taking extremely detailed shots in low light conditions. It works well with both 1.4x and 2.0x tele-converters resulting in a mm F4.0 or mm F5.6 configuration and yet is still able to be hand held due to it's Optical Stabilisation (VR in Nikon speak). New this lens was £2.5K - £3k so grab yourself a bargain. I will also include the lenscoat but I should mention that one piece of the lenscoat has split next to the switches (see images), although it still hugs the lens as it should.
