I am looking for a sharer for this lovely chap. Dylan is 4 and has been backed. He is lovely to ride but obviously very green, he's happy to go out in the woods with company and good in the school. Due to my lack of time (as I have a 2 year old daughter) I am looking for someone with experience to help me bring him on.... He's still growing and about 13.3hh at the moment, max weight - 11 stone. Winter sharer wanted for small cob

Looking for someone who would like to ride on weekends in exchange for helping out with some stable duties. Lovely, small (but wide) cob who enjoys hacking out and is a real confidence giver. With the evenings getting darker I will struggle to ride both of my equines on weekends and it would be great to have some company to ride out with. We have quiet country lanes and a country park nearby with nice bridlepaths. I have a lovely gelding cob 13.3 who could do with a bit more exercise. He's 6 years old. I wouldn't say he's a complete novice ride (although my daughter is and rides him fine) because of his age but he's a lovely lazy boy and could really do with some more exercise and love as my daughter has lots of school work to do and can't always get down to ride him. 14.3hh 14 year old Irish Cob looking for sharer 2-3 days a week. Based between East and West Leake. Currently has 2 sharers but one has just bought her own horse. Charlie loves to hack and will hack alone or in company (there are others on the yard who will be able to join you if you want). Will go first or last. You will have access the outdoor school (has floodlights for winter/evening riding). Doesn't love schooling but he knows some lateral movements etc. Definitely not a competition horse but he has been out and done unaffiliated dressage and showing (there will be opportunities to do this if you wish). Enjoys popping the odd cross pole or small upright. Charlie is a real confidence giver out hacking, fab with all types of traffic. Has had total novices on him, but really needs someone a bit more experienced (at least an advanced novice rider comfortable in all 3 paces) as he can be very forward out hacking and he is strong in canter. We regularly have an excellent instructor come to the yard if you want a few lessons on him. Must be flexible on days each week as current sharer changes her days each week depending on work. Will need to fit around this and liase with sharer (she is reasonable and will try to accommodate you as much as possible). Would suit student or someone with time free in the week. His owner also owns the yard he is on, so no yard duties required as he is essentially on full livery. £20 per week towards shoes etc. Odd job such as cleaning his tack required. Bertie is our gorgeous mother daughter share cob gelding who we have owned for 2 years. He is currently in work 4-5 days per week schooling, hacking and natural horsemanship games/sessions however my daughter is not doing as much as hoped and I'm finding it difficult to keep up the work I think Bertie needs to bring him on. Bertie is kept at Southview yard just outside Wellingborough. It has miles of off road hacking including a nice long strip to gallop up, and a flood lit ménage. There are lots of people to hack with and the potential to join the yard parelli group. I am looking for someone who wants to work with Bertie at least 2 days per week, who is no more than 11.5 stone in weight, and who is happy to ride in a treeless saddle. You will also need rider insurance please, which I will check. Payment to made monthly in advance. We can agree set days or I can be totally flexible depending on what you want to do. Bertie can occasionally spook when out hacking, particularly if alone, although he tends to jump to the side or forward and comes back to listen pretty quickly. However, he can nap if you try a route he's not so familiar with and therefore needs firm direction from his rider. When schooling he will try to get away with minimum effort as he's pretty laid back and chilled out. However, he can move beautifully and be relaxed and forward if you are firm but sensitive with him. I wouldn't say he's a born jumper so if jumping is your thing you will need to work at it to develop him with this. He's had both my kids and my kids' novice friends on him and I am happy to have my 11 year old daughter hack him out around the open fields with me walking/running beside. No set days, no yard/stable chores, come up once a week or every day, completely up to you! I am looking for someone who is into natural horsemanship (like me) is patience, kind but confident and experienced with horses. You also need to be lightweight (under around 11stone) due to Sonnys age. About Sonny: Sonny is a rising 4 year old big cuddly doofus! He is a real sweet heart and doesn't have a bad bone in his body. He is barefoot and bitless, and lives out 24/7 on my tack system livery (Abbotts View Livery: Barefoot and Back to Nature). He is excellent on the ground to have his feet done, be tacked up, be groomed, stand for the equine podiatrist, vet etc. He was lightly backed this summer and is riding away nicely. Has just learnt to trot with a rider and always tries despite his lack of balance! He is certainly more 'woah' than go, and due to his age I don't want him doing any more than going out for little walking hacks with the odd trot, or plodding about the fields. If you are really into riding, I have another horse, Buckthorn, a 14.2hh 6 year old that you would be able to have a proper hack/canter on if you fancied it once in a while and as Sonny progresses, I would like to take the two of them out in my trailer to the local woods for hacks.
