It is very rustic in nature and has many dinks here and there from it's previous life. LOVELY SHABBY CHIC SMART TALLBOY /CUPBOARD 2 DRAWERS

This smart and balanced looking Tallboy/ cupboard has been nicely renovated to a high standard. The inside and outside surface have been sanded back to remove the old varnish then washed down to remove all dust.  Two coats of undercoat and two coats of a farrow and ball  colour MANOR GREY.Then finished with a good quality wax polish. The original handles have been kept on the drawer front and cabinet doors. This pair of pine drawers have been painted in Annie Sloan'd French linen chalk paint. It has been slightly distressed to give them the shabby chic look and then protected with a clear wax. These drawers are not identical but are very similar in look and in height width ect. The tops have been sanded back to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain and then simply finished with clear wax for durability. Each drawer has been lined in a shabby chic faux wood print and then varnished. The handles have been replaced with brass cup handles to give it a more industrial trending look. These sets of drawers are in good condition but have picked up the odd knock along the way but this gives a more authentic shabby chic feel. Retro mid century 4 drawer dresser with mirror. The mirror is removable. Painted in "Aubusson Blue" chalk paint. The dresser has a mottled distressed look and has been waxed for protection.
