Rustic Shabby Chic Farmhouse Solid Wood Table Chairs Bench 6

A much loved shabby chic pine farmhouse kitchen dining table with a bench and four chairs Four traditional carved pine dining chairs and a two/three seater pine bench. Each chair and the table has been sanded down, primed and painted. The table and bench is a soft cream and the chairs is a slightly darker colour but this is hardly noticeable. A lovely solid table, chair and bench set. The table has been used so it does have some marks but that can be rectified with another sand and stain. One chair has some puppy chew marks to the middle strut beneath the chair. Dimensions Width - 80 cm Length - 160 cm Height - 77 cm Only collection and cash on collection.

shabby chic solid jali wood rustic table and 6 chairs

This stunning jali wood table and 6 chairs has been given the popular shabby chic look by being painted in Annie Sloan's old ochre chalk paint. It has then been distressed and the finish protected with clear wax. The table top and the 6 chair seats have been stripped and sanded back to reveal the unusual and beautiful natural wood grain. This has then been finished with a wax feel hard wearing varnish in a satin finish to give it a soft sheen. With jali wood there are many differing colours to the natural wood making it very different. The table top which is similar to a butchers block has differing widths in the wooden planks and they are very thick and chunky making it extremely heavy!. The ladder back chairs have a metal stud detail and the table legs and top has metal strapping giving it an aged and industrial feel. Although there are only 6 chairs this table will seat 8 comfortably. This set has had a previous life and has picked up the odd knock or dent along the way but this does not detract from the piece it only gives it a more authentic shabby chic look. This set is extremely heavy and this should be taken into consideration when collecting. I am offering this on a collection basis only but i am able to get a quote via a courier if you wish then drop me a line with your full postcode and i will happily get one for you. Solid pine dining table, approx. 145cm x 85cm (around 57" x 33.5"). Top of table was sanded and legs painted in Annie Sloan 'old ochre' chalk paint, which is a beautiful pale cream/beige colour. Table top could do with another sand down now as there are a few marks. Table legs can be removed for easier transportation. Four solid pine chairs, with varnished pine seats and painted white backs and legs. Paint is chipped in places. This was a shabby chic project that I never had time to finish off. However, the table and chairs are very solid and functional and in good condition. Just needs a spruce up. Collection only from Eggbuckland, Plymouth, PL6. £70 ONO.
