tremendous lp pre-law suit japan. extremely rare lp with maple neck and fingerboard. solid body mahogany with ash top. low comfortable action with no fretting out. 2 jap washburn humbuckers of the era (not original super 70´s) but sounding excellent! kluson type tuners. relic aesthetic with dings and scratched paintwork which lends an attractive vintage look to the guitar. weighs in a 4.3 kilos so rather less than an old gibson of the same epoch. truly a brilliant and extremely unusual les paul copy with maple board. very difficult to find. selling this beauty with a vintage "coffin-type" hardcase included with plush red velvet interior. asking price 400 pound but will listen to sensible offers. Twin Humbucker electric guitar from the 70's. A few minor nocks but for a 40+ year old guitar it hasn't been abused so is considered in good condition. It's been in the family for years but I'm not a guitar player so cant tell you too much about it. I have been advised the old Japanese bolt-ons Aria's are quite rare and so sought after. Great condition for it's age. Some scratches and dings, minor fretwear. The chrome parts, particularly the trem, have a lot of wear on the finish. 's Les Paul DC copy - made in Japan

This is a 's Japanese copy of a Gibson Les Paul Special double cut. When I got it a few years ago, it had already lost its headstock logo, and despite making enquiries to people knowledgeable about Japanese copies of this era, I haven't been able to find a match - I don't think it's an Arbiter. But it's a great copy of a great guitar. When I got the guitar, it was in a bit of a state, so I upgraded the pickups to GFS Alnico Vintage soapbars and swapped in an adjustable wraparound bridge. The luthier also reset the fretboard, which had lifted a little. I didn't do any cosmetic work on the body, which has quite a few dings and scrapes, though the luthier sanded and finished a scrape on the back of the neck to stop it from affecting playability. As a result, the guitar plays and sounds great, but if you are looking for something pristine, this definitely isn't for you. It's a 40+ year old vintage guitar, and it had obviously taken a few knocks before I got hold of it. Sadly, it now has the opposite problem - it's just not getting played enough, so rather than have it sit there gathering dust and making me feel guilty, I've decided to sell it. Come and try it out.
