This is an old Seagull engine circa The engine number is SP.J8 which indicates that it is a Silver Century 4.5 HP standard shaft engine. There is a lot of information on various web sites (see Saving-old-seagulls) and apparently there are anomalies in the engine numbering so you buy it as seen. I took it in exchange for a debt 20 years ago and know nothing about it. I have now decided to clear out my garage and have no time to recommission it, so it is for sale as spares or repair. It turns over and seems generally OK. I believe it was a runner when I got it. These small engines were used to drive fairly large boats at relatively low speeds and are ideal for canals and tenders etc. Cash on collection please. I may be able to deliver. Read More

Dory Fishing Boat, 13.5ft with trailer. The Dory has a Cathedral hull which make it a very stable platform for fishing, and has storage fore and aft. Included in the sale are two outboard engines, the main engine is a 2-stroke long shaft Johnston 35HP, which will take the boat up to approx 25mph on the plane. The reserve outboard is a 2-stroke long shaft Suzuki 3.5HP. Both engines can be seen working and have been serviced regularly by the boatyard. Also included are two GUL life jackets, a 25L fuel tank, a 5 piece fixed rod holder, 4 x Fenders, an Anchor, spare wheel, flushing device, oars, engine cover for the Johnston, trailer board, and a full cover for the Boat.
