Spooky is a 6 year old small sized female schipperke mix. She has spent her whole life in kennels and as a result is a very shut down little lady. Spooky is quite food motivated and will approach people for food but otherwise is generally disinterested in them currently. She is not aggressive or fearful with people but has never had any positive interactions with them so does not seek out attention or try to engage with them because she has no reason to. At present she is an aloof independent dog; very cat like in her mannerisms. Spooky is clean and quiet in the house, she is enjoying her home comforts and now that she has learnt about living in a house she doesn’t want to go outside in the rain ever again. ?? She doesn’t seem overly bothered by other dogs, she’s generally very disinterested in them also. Spooky is a complex little lady who will have a lot to offer someone if they can spend the time reconditioning her and teaching her what a new life outside of bars has to offer. Daschund Mix For Adoption

Treacle is a 2 year old JRT x Daschund. She is a funny complex little lady who is unsure of new people but does warm up to them once she realizes they aren't going to hurt her. She adores playing with other dogs and is cat friendly however she is slightly food aggressive so will need to be fed separately from resident dogs. I do believe this is due to being in a shelter environment previously and is a learned behavior but will improve with training and time when she realizes she doesn't have to guard her food from others. There's got to be a home out there for the gorgeous little Roger. He is a small sized spaniel mix only 2 years old. He's good with dogs, cats and children. He is housebroken, crate trained and doesn't chew when he is left. Swiftwood Sanctuary is looking for an adoptive home for Phantom. He is approximately 16.3hh and around 20 years old. We took him in last year after his hunting days became too much for him. We have since had him diagnosed by the vet as having shivers. The vet has said there is no reason alone why he can't enjoy hacks and will in fact do him good. So we are tentatively putting this advert out to see if there is anyone around suitable. He can live out as long as he is rugged but I'm sure he wouldn't say no to a stable over night either. He has been a wonderful horse in his time by all accounts and has taken many novice riders to the next level. But due to his shivers he can only be walked out on hacks.
