This is Sam he's 6yr old I have split from my partner and I'm finding it difficult to care for him, he's grown up around children I have a 12yr old n a 3yr old who he's great with he's great with other dogs n loves a good chase he as a great recall and has no problem on lead, he loves a good run once a day but is generally happy to lounge around rest of time, he as grown up with a cat that he's ok with they are generally kept apart but I wouldn't trust him with any other cat, he's chipped and naurtured he his crate trained if needed, he's never been worked so would be more suited to someone that wants a family pet, I think I've covered everything but if you have any questions pls ask I'm not. 14 month old Lurcher needs good home (Greyhound x Saluki)

This is Moss, a 14 month old Lurcher cross (Greyhound and Saluki mix) who is in need of a new home. We have had Moss since he was 3 months old (born 13th March ) and he is an incredibly good natured and lovable dog, but sadly we are now struggling to find the time to give him the attention and exercise he needs. Moss has grown up with 1 other dog in the house, is used to being picked up, handled and walked both on and off the lead. He is house trained, neutered and used to car journeys and being left alone for several hours during the day. He is fully up to date with his vaccinations and worming (which he has never had a problem with), including 'kennel cough' and is micro-chipped. Moss is still fully of puppy-like energy and just loves to play and run as much as possible. Due to changing work schedules, we are not getting a chance to take him for as many of the big walks he loves to run off steam and feel that someone with more time/space would be able to give him a better life. Moss loves to meet other dogs and, while he can be shy at first, just wants to chase and be chased. We have trained him to recall with a whistle which he is good at when there are not too many distractions. Like most sight-hound breeds, when he spots something fun to chase he will go for it, but he has always been raised as a family pet, not a racing dog. If you can give Moss a good home please get in touch to see or discuss. We can supply his bed, blanket, collar and favorite toys along with some of the food he is on.
