Rolling Stones No 2 LP Mono st Press Blind Man Sleeve
Title: The Rollingstrong> Stonesstrong> - Nostrong>. 2 Label & year: Original "Unboxed" Decca LK LPstrong>, UK Monostrong> UNCENSORED withdrawn "Blind Man Sleeve" 1st Press!!! Matrix's: Side A: XARL-A, Side B: XARL-A An OUTSTANDING example of this true garage rock classic!!! A CLASSIC LPstrong> from this magnificent band, and nostrong>t only that, it's MAGNIFICENT scarcely played condition!!! SO hard to find like this!!! One of my favourite albums of all time, just look at that track line up!!! One of the greatest LPstrong>'s that the classic line up of The Stonesstrong> ever did - Surely THE greatest white blues band there ever was!!! Warning! This LPstrong> contains magic!!! Trivia: These 1st presses initially had a passage about mugging a blind man in Andrew Loog Oldham's write up on the back. Nostrong>w, it was Stonesstrong> mania at the time and concerned parents actually managed to get the issue of the "blindman text" raised in parliament, concerned that it would lead their kids astray!!! The sleeve was swiftly banned and replaced with a censored version! Incredible by today's standards!!! Tracklist: Everybody Needs Somebody To Love, Down Home Girl, You Can't Catch Me, Time Is On My Side, What A Shame, Grown Up Wrong, Down The Road Apiece, Under The Boardwalk, I Can't Be Satisfied, Pain In My Heart, Off The Hook, and Susie-Q. Musicians: Mick Jagger - Vocals, Keith Richard - Guitar, Charlie Watts - Drums, Bill Wyman - Bass, Brian Jones - Guitar and everything else!, and Andrew Loog Oldham - Producer. About: Ultra Rare Original UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LPstrong> initially sold barely anything (LPstrong>'s were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LPstrong> from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LPstrong>!!! If you like good music. The LPstrong>: Labels: Classic UK 1st Press red ridged "Unboxed" Decca labels!!! Both sides are FANTASTIC with NOstrong> real signs of age, NOstrong> writing, NOstrong> stickers, and NOstrong> tears whatsoever!!! Just has a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this has barely had much play over the years at all!!! AWESOME for a 48 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good++++!!! Record: Visual - Spectacular Original UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks INCREDIBLE with NOstrong> nasty scratches, groovewear, or nasty deep scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes off perfection are just one or two BARELY VISIBLE totally nostrong>n-sounding cosmetic scuffs, a few of the lightest, wispy sleeve traces/cleaning lines (only visible in strong angled light) and only one or two ULTRA light nostrong>n sounding hairlines from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Of course, nostrong>ne of these ULTRA light blemishes affect play AT ALL!!! PHENOstrong>MENAL for a record of this age and rarity!!! You'll be amazed by how generally clean and unworn it is!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, nostrong>t overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me) Record: Audio - Thankfully, it plays AMAZINGLY with fantastic monostrong> blast and clarity!!! It really sounds incredible with NOstrong> hisses, hops, distortion, sticks, OR skips!!! Only like pretty much ALL records has the very RAREST quiet tick here and there, and possibly just the MEREST TOUCH of low level static in the rarest few and far between places such as on the run in grooves and between some tracks, but that's truly about it!!! The vast, vast, majority of the music is TRULY crystal clear - It really does play with a CD-like near 100% black silence, but with that bass, depth, clarity and warmth you can only get from original UK vinyl!!! EVEN the vast majority of the quiet sections!!! Absolutely ESSENTIAL!!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audibly at least as Excellent++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, nostrong>t trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me) Sleeve: Original UK withdrawn 1st press front laminated flipback James Upton "Blind Man" sleeve complete with original inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LPstrong>!!! This one is NOstrong>T, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NOstrong> tears, NOstrong> graffiti, NOstrong> seam splits OR edge rubbing, NOstrong> bad marks AT ALL, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few MEGA light signs of ageing such as just a tiny amount of ultra light creases and the merest HINT of a record imprint, some minostrong>r signs of ageing to the still bright unlaminated back such as the slightest dulling here and there and only a small amount of tiny little age spots (absolutely nostrong>thing drastic - NOstrong> coffee cup rings, writing OR graffiti whatsoever), a touch of denting to the four corners which virtually every vintage sleeve has, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minostrong>r signs of age here and there, though nostrong>thing that really stands out to nostrong>te at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by listing the most minostrong>r negatives I can possibly find, but this remains an OUTSTANDING sleeve and a TRUE rarity to find one as amazing as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but nostrong>t this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, un split and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, un split and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good+++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, nostrong>t trashed or over graded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me) Summary: An OUTSTANDING scarcely played example of this IMPOSSIBLY RARE classic Monostrong> 1st Press LPstrong>!!! Hard to find in ANY condition, but SERIOUSLY RARE TO FIND Read more
