Roland JV Dance Expansion Board

Number six in the SR-JV80-series, this card was at the time taken off the market apparently due to legal, copyright reasons. The card was co-produced by excellent British sound design company AMG, and the quality, variety, and programming is thoroughly very good. The loops are very solid, and it sounds like some great outboard gear was used to record them, especially compressors, because the tone is really powerful and rounded. Roland's on-board effects also help in creating a very professional sounding product. As far as the sounds go, there's a bit of everything, from excellent dance lead synths, to breathy pads, powerful basses, and pumping drum sets. Selling my Roland GAIA, in perfect condition. I would also be willing to sell the stand in the picture. I also have an abundance of cables, so I could add some to the bundle if needed. This is a perfect first synthesiser, or a great addition to a live performance setup (used live by Canadian artist Grimes, for example). All of the parameters are linked to sliders and buttons on the faceplate of the synths, which makes it extremely intuitive and responsive, letting you easily shift any parameter in real time to morph the sound. The keyboard and pitch bend/mod wheel are also of high quality. The only reason I'm parting with it is that I'm moving abroad and can only take the very smallest of my gear.
