It is the only RD series version that has 6 "One Touch select buttons for Grand pianos and Electric Rhodes pianos etc.I tried all the main keyboard makes and am in no doubt that the Roland RD, series beat them all for sound quality, best all round Samples and is way ahead on tailoring sounds to your own taste through the ease of detailed editing parameters. Rare and highly sought-after rack version of the RD- made famous by Elton John. The MKS20 uses SAS (Structured Adaptive Synthesis) to create its 8 different tone colours. When you play harder the tone doesn't just get louder it changes in timbre too which makes for a superbly expressive instrument. MKS20's are especially sought-after for the electric piano sounds and are often owned by Gospel players. I too like the electric piano but i also love the shimmering Vibraphone and funky Clavi. The tones available are: Piano (3 types), Harpsichord, Clavi, Vibraphone, and Electric Piano (2 types). The sounds can be radically modified using the built-in stunningly-lush sounding analogue chorus and tremolo and the 3 band parametric equaliser with sweepable mid frequency and Q-value. These edits can be stored in 56 memory locations for instant recall. Stereo output is on both 1/4" jacks (with 3-position level switch), and XLR 'Cannon' connectors (Balanced, 600 ohms). This example is in perfect working order and it has just been professsionally serviced by James Walker of Synth Repair Services so you can be confident that everything works correctly, safely and smoothly. The service included having a brand new LCD backlight fitted and new smoothing capacitors on the power supply. Also the unit was tested for electrical safety. Cosmetically, the face of the MKS is in excellent condition. There are some scuffs on the top panel and there are no rack ears. Overall then a sought-after superb sounding and expressive instrument which has just been serviced and is ready for action. There is no user manual but the MKS is refreshingly easy to use so you really won't need one. Very good condition Roland Electric drum kit (currently retail around £, monitor £250). Includes: drum kit, monitor, bass pedal and bass pad, hi-hat pedal, all necessary user manuals, all cables connecting up pads included + cable from kit to monitor. Drum kit has a large number of preset drum sets, all pads and cymbals are fully customisable with a large range of drums, cymbal and percussion options. Drum kit has a metronome and a range of mixing/tuning options for each pad. There is a record button where the user can input beats and play them back. The monitor can be used via a line in (aux chord not included) to play external music for the user to play along to. Drum kit also has a headphone port (headphones not included). Further details can be found in the owners manual. Snare head has a small piece of tape repairing a tiny nick in the drum head. Pad still works perfectly and replacements can be sourced easily.
