ROCKSHOX Recon Silver TK suspension forks - 26 inch

A set of good quality genuine Rockshox Recon Silver TK forks to suit 26 inch wheels. 1 1/8th steerer - uncut, so still c265mm long and with star-nut fitted. The forks are suitable for V-brakes or disc brake and have adjustable pre-load and lockout. The suspension incorporates a by-pass valve when in lockout so that if you do hit a bump the forks aren't jarred by the impact as with cheaper forks. I had these fitted on my ali framed Dawes Sardar trekking bike that I used for the odd bridleway and green lane ride. When I sold the bike, the new owner wanted the original rigid forks with the front pannier racks so I hung onto these - 'just in case'. Somewhere I still have the original spare seal kit that came with them. If I can lay my hands on it, it will be included. I would prefer them to be for collection only, but I will check out the cost of posting them, probably by Hermes. They are likely to be the cheapest method. RockShox Dart 3 Suspension Fork 100mm 26"

This is a circa RS Dart 3 coil-sprung suspension fork. It's been off my bike for a few years now, but I forgot to sell it. It has preload and rebound damping controls, and should suit any 26" wheel MTB as long as it has a 1 1/8" headset, disc brakes and is built for a 80 or 100mm fork. The steerer is straight - not tapered - and has been cut down to 230mm, probably at the RockShox factory. There's currently no crown-race, but the star-nut is still in place and looks to be usable. This was bought OE on an XL bike, and from memory I believe the coil is a 'firm', but you could swap that out for a few quid if you're smaller than me. Everything worked great last time I rode it. There's a bit of superficial damage on the preload cap from using a spanner on it, but the stanchions are in great condition and the dropouts are decent.
