Ribcraft 585 Rib Powerboat Stock in Weymouth

The boat The hull is white in as new condition with no chips and is clean and straight. The tubes are in excellent condition with no patches it has 5 chambers each chamber having inflator valves and over pressure valves to stop overfilling and increased pressure in warm weather that could cause damage to the tubes. The Deck is beautifully rigged with large double console with front seat and anchor locker under seat. There are 4 aft seats with back supports and lumber supports on each seat (which is an expensive option from Ribcraft) which sits nicely into stainless steel framework. The deck is non slip and has a well style bilge where the bilge pump and transducer are housed. Large double stainless steel 'A' Frame. This boat really looks the business and is a real head turner. It has a large under deck fuel tank 250Litres (I think) making it suitable for offshore travel. The boat was first registered in but looks like new. It is great for fishing, cruising, Bay hopping, off shore travel or for using as a dive boat. The Engine The Engine is a 140HP Suzuki 4 stroke which was fitted to the boat brand new in . It is under warranty until June and has only done 260 hours since fitted. Service history and engine documentation are present. This is a powerful yet economic engine for this boat and will comfortably push the boat to 40 knots and cruises nicely at 30+ knots. It has been flushed after every use and winterized each winter since I have had the boat. The Trailer The trailer is a Rapide trailer which Ribcraft supply with their craft it is easy to launch and retrieve the boat. It is a braked trailer and tows really nice and sits nicely on the motorway. It was overhauled last year with new breaks, Wheel bearings, Bearing savers, jockey wheel assembly I also had a hub rinse kit fitted so that the breaks and hubs can be flushed with fresh water after each sea launch. Equipment The boat comes with Icom DSC Vhf radio with large antenna fitted to the A frame it has good range and was never a problem staying in contact with other vessels and Coastguard for radio checks etc. Also has Lowrence chart plotter and fish finder which is easy to use and plot/ navigate a course with ease also contains useful information i.e. Current speed, Average speed, Max speed, Battery power etc.etc.. The boat steering is via a Bay Master hydraulic system which is smooth and gives no feedback as with cable type systems. Also included in sale is anchor, anchor chain and rope.
