Classic Revox A77 needs a bit of work to get it up and running, not much tho... this was at Rockfield during early seventies. I think it's distinctive sound can be heard on Dave Edmunds "I hear you knocking " I've been told it was used in the mixing by someone who was there ! It actually works fine except for the brake springs ?? which are in the back panel.they need replacing. they are very cheap. Everything else could do with a little cosmetic attention after which it will look and sound amazing. These are going for plus in better condition, Priced reflecting the small amount of work that will result in a bargain and what's more a bit of Welsh Rock history ! Revox B77 with 4 Tapes in flight case with fitted XLR connec

Parting with my REVOX B77. A fantastic machine Last album was used on sold copies. Amazing warmth and really brings computer (Ableton,Logic etc) audio/soft synths to life. You cannot get this warmth from a computer. Comes in a custom made flight case with neat wired XLR ins and outs that are totally unique. Also comes with 4 tapes 2 are absolutely virgin (ATR= The best) unused tape and 2 are very lightly used. As stated was last used for mastering an album 2 years ago and was serviced 2 years ago. Mainly used for bringing warmth to individual tracks that were not recorded to tape. Things to note. The left hand meter does not function but the the right meter works fine.Not a problem as most metering can be done on the right or I would meter through ProTools/Logic etc. Counter does not work but this is not a problem as I doubt you will be recording a full length album and dropping in on it;) ATR tape alone costs £80 a reel Please get in touch with sensible offers. Remoterig RRC-MkII

The Remoterig RRC-Mk II system can be used in many different ways. The most important configurations are showed on the Remoterig website. Control panel mode The most common way of using the system is with radios which have detachable control panels. Whith those radios you keep the real radio feeling as the system works exactly as when you have the control panel connected direct to the radio. And the most important thing is that no PC.s are needed at all. The Remoterig are tested and supports the following rigs with detachable control panels. Kenwood: TS-480, TM-D710, TS- Yaesu: FT-857,FT-, FT- ICOM: IC-703, IC-706, IC-R, IC-, IC-, ID-E880 Alinco: DX-SR8 Note ! IC- can NOT be used in this mode as the display info is sent as analog video signal. Elecraft K3- Twin Concept The Elecraft K3 Twin concept gives the same feeling as the control panel mode. The Elecraft K3 Twin concept is a high end concept for the serious ham who do not accept any compromise even when remote controlling his station. You can use the K3/0, K3/10 or K as control. The K3/0 is a specially design control unit. Yaesu Twin Concept The Yaesu Twin concept gives the same feeling as the Control panel mode above as you use a second transceiver as control “panel”. This is of course a more expensive way of remote controlling but it gives you the posibility to use the best radios available on the market even for remote control. This mode supports FT-450, FT-950, FT-, FT- and FT- even in cross combinations. No PC.s are needed in this configuration either. Replacing traditional PC-Remote control The Remoterig system supports more traditional PC controlled remote control also, with the important difference that you do not need a PC on the Remote site. Most radios with some kind of serial remote control interface from Kenwood, ICOM,Yaesu, Elecraft, Tentec etc are supported. PC-remote control We also have a system called RRC-Micro which not need a Remoterig box in the control end, only a PC is needed with a our software client and the small USB-PTT/audio box. This system is very handy to use when traveling for example as you can use you laptop and connect to wireless LANs or mobile networks where ever you are. Control panel and PC-remote control in combination The control panel mode and the PC-control mode can be combined also so you can use the control panel when at home and the RRC-Micro PC based system when travelling. WiFi Interface All versions of the RRC-, RRC-MkII etc. can be equipped with a internal WiFi Interface. A WiFi interface is convenient when you want to connect the RRC:s to a WiFi network both at home or when traveling.. You do not need any extra cables or boxes. For the Control-RRC the main reason to use WiFi might be the portability, and for the Radio-RRC to physically separate the RRC from the telephone/DSL line which is the most common route for lightning storms to hit the RRC and the Radio. The WiFi Interface is mounted on the pinheader P3 in the RRC-box. RRC-boxes produced from summer has the pin header in place from production and no soldering is needed. The pin header are included with the WiFi Interface in case you need it. Instruction for installation is done can be found on the Remoterig website under Support/Mods (hardware). The 2.4 GHz Wifi Interface is compliant to b/g and single stream n and supports WPA2- (AES), WEP (64 and 128 bit) modes of security in infrastructure mode and also TKIP in SPI mode. There is no limitations compared to Ethernet, all settings that are used when they are connected to Ethernet can be used. The WiFi Interface do not support ad-hoc, so it’s not possible to connect a Control-RRC and Radio-RRC direct together with the internal WiFi Interfaces you need a Access point or a router also. The RRC automatically or manually switch between WiFi or Ethernet. IF it’s set to Auto and the Ethernet is connected, Ethernet will be used.
