Roan mare, 146 cm, 4 years. Irish bred by Brock Lodge Buster out of Slieve Bloom Blossom. She is by the same stallion and from the same home as Slieve Bloom Jill who won HOYS. Masie has got to be one of the quietest Connemaras I have ever had. She truly has a wonderful temperament. Backed and ridden away at walk and trot a couple of months ago, then turned back out. She was an absolute dream to break. Masie is a super straight mover and must have a good future ahead of her as a performance pony. She should make 148 cm. She would also make an excellent brood mare with her bloodlines. She is so easy to do anything with, catch, tie up, load (lorry/trailer), with the farrier, used to farm machinery. Lives out with mares and geldings. She does have a small mark in her nearside eye, as the result of a twig. She has been checked by the vet and it does not affect her in any way. Very pretty year old, registered connemara! Connie loves to jump and she knows her job! I have been jumping her over 80 at home which she's clearing by miles! This mare is bold jumping and has jumped everything we've put her at! She's showing a lot of potential in this discipline. Connie hasn't done any dressage with us as I hate it! I believe with abit of work with someone who knows what they're doing she would be okay at it. She's fine to hack alone and in company will go first or last and doesn't get strong or silly! When hacking alone she does sometimes need a big kick but once she's going she's an angle!
