Project or companion, lives out all year alone or in a herd, good to leave behind while others go out. Came off the moors with foal at foot about 4yrs ago and hasnt been passported yet which is why I'm not asking for much. Has just been groomed and fussed mostly til now, been out for walks and kids sit on her and get led around the field quite often. Easy project for someone. Great feet cheap to keep, never sick or sorry no history of lami, she is fat at the moment and in a grazing muzzle. Good for farrier and to handle, tie up. Can try to nip on occasion! Holly 12'2 coloured Dartmoor mare. She is 11 at the end of April. We have owned Holly for 9 years, so this is a very difficult decision to make. She is a cheeky character but very lovable. She is definitely the boss in the field. My six year old son can lead her in and out of field. She has been mostly used as a lead rein pony for my two sons who really aren't interested in horses! She has been to several local shows and always comes home with rosettes. My six year has started riding her off the lead rein but only in walk. She will follow u around and goes over jumps. We have not found her true potential due to the lack of interest of my children, but she has a lovely trot. She has been hacked out on and off the lead rein and is great in traffic. She is good for farrier, clip, loading, grooming etc. She has no vices. She is available with cub saddle, bridle rugs. Home is far more important than price.

*Meadow* Dartmoor Mare for sale

Meadow is a stocky Dartmoor Mare, Dun with the Dorsal Stripe running all the way down her back.  She is broken but has been out of work for over a year now due to myself having a baby so she is very green.  When she was regularly being ridden she was brilliant, fine in all traffic, and rides out alone or in company. She needs someone with a lot of time and one on one as she soon looses her trust, she's very much a one person pony.  Not suitable for a child at all, not until she's had a lot more work done.  Lives in or out, no rugs needed and no shoes. A very cheap pony! She does need to be in through the summer months due to laminitis, but she doesn't mind being stabled.
