I have a rascal 889 mobility scooter that has suddenly died on me i've had it checked by reputable dealer who says the 2 x 75amp batteries are good all lights horn indicators etc all work as they should but it refuses to drive the dealer said its the main controller that's gone?? it used to take a 35stone person 8mph up to 35 miles on a full charge until one month ago.no other scooter could do that. no parts have been taken from it. its 100% complete the two 75amp batteries alone cost around £300 GO ON MAKE AN OFFER Read More

scooter did carry up to 35 stone for 35 miles until "main control box" decided to pack in. not a toy with extra heavy chassis with shock absorbers fitted to all four wheels would make an excellent "totrod" or go cart its now in the way but far too good to scrap come and have a look.
