Hofner Committee Brunette archtop acoustic, (Serial Number: ) complete with extremely rare Framus period-correct aftermarket pickup set: I have owned this guitar since and it came with the pickups fitted. (These are a rare and valuable collectors item in their own right!) As far as I know they were purchased along with the guitar. It is in very good vintage player condition but is definitely not a pristine “case queen”. Please note, however, that the neck has never required a reset and the heel has not cracked as often happens with vintage Hofners. The guitar comes with its original, very beaten-up case and a replacement enclosed Van Ghent tuner which I have never got around to fitting. I’m slowly downsizing my collection and have come to realise that, despite my sentimental attachment to this lovely instrument, I seldom play it and so would be better moving it on to a new owner who would hopefully appreciate it as much as I have. 's HOFNER PROFESSIONAL SOLID BASS GUITAR (182/E1) this will be a great bass when finished,most of the original parts are present,straight neck with fully working truss rod,no fret wear or wear to the fretboard,no cracks in the scratchplate, beautiful original nickel bridge and tailpiece,at some point the body was painted blue but the paint comes off really easy,I'm not sure of what wood it is,there are four machine heads with screws but they are odd, pictures I have seen of this bass the body was originally red,in parts alone the guitar would be worth a lot more but it would be a shame to break it up for parts,collection in person only. The guitar is finished in cherry red. The neck is made up of a three-piece maple/beech/maple finish and a rosewood fingerboard. The headstock is known for its standard mother of pearl flower motif.
