Beautiful Black Cliff Barnsby Comfort Bridle. Super soft leather with all brass fittings, has interchangeable nosebands and comes with all 3 nosebands... plain, flash and grackle. The bridle is pony size and on the smallest fit it went small enough to fit my pony who has small pony size bridles but it will go much larger for a larger pony. The bridle is like new and has been used a couple of times only, the reins have never been used at all and the grackle has never been used! Barnsby Pony Club saddle. 16" seat, 8" D-ring to D-ring.  Well used with a few scratches and scuffs (as pictured) but it is still a nice, sound little saddle in good working order. The saddle is flocked with wool and had point straps fitted by a saddler about 5 years ago. Has been in regular use until recently when I decided to try treeless hence my reason for sale. Saddle is to be collected only, however if the purchaser wishes to arrange collection by a courier (at own cost and risk) then I am happy to carefully pack the item.

Details about   16" M Cliff Barnsby Pony Club saddle

This super little saddle has done sterling service on a variety of native ponies that are built like a loo roll with no withers! It is built on a very flat tree with flat gussetts and tends not to roll or move forwards. It looks quite straight cut, but actually has plenty of knee support. Sadly the only child I have that still fits into a 16" saddle has a pony that does not taper at the withers as his previous one did, so needs a wider saddle........... The girth points are sound, as is the saddle. The only issue is that the girth straps are starting to peel an separate, but are still well-stitched and passed muster at PC recently. Having had a bit of a nightmare with specific courier companies that cannot seem to make the effort to see if anyone is at home, I am happy to send at cost using whichever service the buyer prefers, so will list P+P at £15, but it may well be less. Local collection is also a possibility and I am happy for the purchaser to view the saddle and try it on before the end of the auction. Also listed elsewhere, so may end auction early. I know I would get more money for this saddle if I sold it via my local saddler, but I have a tiny tack room and not enough space for lots of spare saddles

A nice bridle in very good condition, it comes with a flash noseband it does have a small nick on the noseband, but it is very much useable and includes the flash noseband. I also separately purchased a hunter style plain caveson noseband that matches this bridle. The bridle also comes with rubber grip reins. It has been lightly used and the leather is soft and supple. This quality, strong Cliff Barnsby saddle was last used for hunting on a 15.3 thoroughbred.   17.5 inch seat. Its has additional D rings for carrying flasks, saddle bags, etc. The saddle has been looked after but has been in storage for a season so all will need cleaning and oiling.  A couple of marks on it here and there but is in overall good useable order.
