These are heavy and robustly manufactured objects with relatively high cut velvet. Their wool is of good quality and has a lovely shine. The field is divided into diamond shapes by a continuous lattice comprising lines and tiny rosettes. Sometimes the decoration features spandrels, in other cases it extends freely over the whole field. The central medallion is also an element that is sometimes included in the pattern.
