I'm looking to buy a disbudded wether from a breed that grows large or fairly large. In the past I have raised saanen and anglonubian from bottle to full size (about a year), at which point they went to the pot. Because I have other goats (meat and pet) which don't have horns, I am only looking for a disbudded or naturally polled goat. All ages will be considered, but mainly I'm looking for as young as possible, as I want to raise it. We are looking for 2/3 young Pygmy wethers that have been raised around/ are used to dogs (or are young enough to learn). They will have their own safe enclosure but I have four dogs who walk in the paddock and I don't want the goats to be frightened. I am a canine behaviourist so the introductions will be done slowly and carefully but I think it will be easier with goats who are not already very scared (more so than the usual prey reactions).
