At our puppy training classes, only kind, effective techniques are used and puppies are 'educated' to have good manners, be friendly with adults, children and other dogs, and to respond to commands. Puppy School is a set of six puppy training classes lasting one hour. The comprehensive programme has been carefully designed to take you through all the obedience basics giving you a good foundation for life with your new puppy or for any dog training sport you choose to do later. Puppy School curriculum - What will my puppy learn? You will learn how to teach your puppy to: Come when called Sit, lie down, stand on command Walk on a loose lead without pulling Accept handling (including for vets and groomers) Wait 'Settle' 'Leave' when asked Accept people near to food bowls, bones and chew Stop play biting Be sociable with humans, children, and other puppies Greet people without jumping up (Please note we cannot guarantee the attendance of children to help socialise your puppy, but we do encourage families with children to bring them to class to learn how to train their puppy and to interact positively with other puppies in the class.) Puppy School 6 week course costs just £65 to include all training treats needed, 6 weeks tuition, the Puppy School manual and Puppy School rosette upon completion of the course. The course has a maximum of 6 puppies per class allowing me plenty of time with each puppy and family. Puppies need to be vaccinated and be 20 weeks or under when starting the course.
