Meopta Axomat 5 (35 mm/126)+Colour 3 mixing head (35 mm-6x6)
Being sold as spares or repair Quality East european made Meopta Colour/ black & white or B&W multigrade compatible Enlarger with heavy duty transformer using a 100 watt 12 volt quartz halogen projector bulb as main light source in the colour mixing head. The enlarger head can be swivelled through 90 degrees left or right for projection use (for artistic purposes) or be completely removed, and replaced by the copying arm (available elsewhere on the internet). The colour mixing head, has been completely serviced, a new bulb will be needed along with a new switch and low voltage lead to the transformer. As the previous owner fitted wrong type of bulb, and the lead melted, the head and transformer were tested and are unaffected by this previous problem. The bellows focusing unit, is in very good light tight condition, and the lense board can be tilted up to 11 degrees to correct lense angle abberation or for creative effects. The film carrier is designed for up to x4 cm use, 35 mm masks are supplied. The colour head has a 35 mm polystyrene light Mixing chamber fitted (other mixing chambers are available elsewhere. A Paterson 50 mm f3.5- f16 (in full stops only) coated enlarging lenses is supplied with the enlarger in M39 mm. This enlarger comes with the M39 mm lense board and I think you can get a M42 mm lense board elsewhere on the internet. The geared centre column allows for upto 16 x 20" prints to be enlarged, I think, and bigger if side projected. I Bought the enlarger as sparess originally, but is nearing a fully working condition, once the new bulb and lead/switch is fitted. I am giving up film photography, because of health deteriation. Other photographic and darkroom equipment available. This item can be collected, or posted mail order (via parcel force 48 hour service (). I accept bank transfer, Ping it, postal order, cash on collection in GB £ sterling or Euro's at current exchange rates. I will consider donating the complete darkroom equipment I have to a registered charity that is wanting the equipment, to set up an educational darkroom, and not for fund raising purposes:-) thank you.
