16.2 mare, 5 yr old percheon X cob; project/hunter project

Very lovely iron/dapple grey mare, quiet, good bone. Stands about 16.2, turned five early September. Bought wild from a herd as a project, but just dont have the time to break/bring on. Bought specifically to do side saddle and three day event with. Now halter broken, used to daily stable life, will lead, have rugs on, (still working on back feet) not a mean horse, always the lowest in the herd despite her size!! Very green and uneducated, but brave and bold to investigate. One heck of a jump on her! She jumped four & 1/2 foot stock fence, but by accident I think, but wont jump electric tape. Although she is uneducated she is and will be a serious event or hunt horse for someone. Read More

Victorian Armchair Project

A very nice button-back chair in mahogany and on brass castors. I attempted to reupholster this myself (have had some training so not a complete novice). Stripped down, all wood treated and re-polished, 2 castors replaced, re-sprung, webbing and all materials replaced correctly (i.e, hessian, calico, horse-hair etc) and finally re-covered. You will probably want to remove the cover, add a bit more stuffing and replace or renew the cover and buttons. Note that the cover is an expensive textured thick cotton (not draylon!) and I do have some over if required (reasonable price). H:101cm, W:72cm. Collection only from Lynton in North Devon. Antique/vintage leather & rattan armchair with prof made cushions (ideal upholstery project)

This chair had brand new bespoke cushions (from John Lewis) 10 years ago, now a little light-faded. It is perfectly usable (and really comfortable) as a chair straight away but ideally looking for someone to restore the upholstery and leather as a project to bring it back to its full glory.
