Dixie, approx 14.2 gelding aged 14. Ex riding school lad who I bought to hack out on but he is just wasted as I am struggling with my pelvis. He hacks alone but prefers company as will call but then just gets on with it. He enjoys exploring and you don't really need the reigns when he knows the route. Dix has obviously worked hard in his life so now deserves a quieter home but is not ready to retire yet, he certainly does not want to teach anymore. He would suit a mature lady who just wants to spuddle about with friends 2 or 3 times a week. Traffic doesn't phase this chap, he's forward going and a very comfortable ride. He is a great general all rounder and is perfect for someone who would like a happy hacker and to do a bit of schooling, fun rides etc. He hacks with or without company but he does prefer to hack with another horse. A stunning beautiful 148 chestnut/white cob x. He's a forward going pony that loves jumping, xc & pc activities. He's a super hack & very brave. But... unforoutnatly he pulled his front right suspensory last week & I have been advised he needs to be turned out for 3 months & then slowly brought back into full work or shockwave treatment what will cost £500 (I have copy of vet report). 15'3hh 7 year old blue and white Irish cob x ID gelding, Dublin is a kind loving horse but can be nervous, He needs a confident experienced handler/rider and will go far in the right hands. Great dressage/showing prospect. He's had a couple of bad experiences this year and its knocked his confidence/nerve's. Currently stabled at a professional schooling yard with a confident professional working with him daily and he's improving everyday. He loves being in a routine and enjoys to be worked regularly. If he becomes nervous with something we repeat the process with him a few times until he grasps the fact that he's safe then he settles down and does what's asked of him. This horse doesn't have a bad bone in his body. HONEST ADVERT: NO NOVICES PROJECT OR COMPANION With a heavy heart I offer my boy for sale. 6 y/o 14.2 cob gelding, true gentleman on the ground. The most beautiful temperament and loves a cuddle. Brilliant with the farrier and dentist, loves a bath / groom and stands to be clipped. Comes to call. Great to lead not strong or bolshy, never reared bitten or kicked. Passported and chipped. Everything up to date. He would make the perfect companion and while he is currently stabled at night he will happily live out. Very easy to keep and not fussed either way.:-) Ridden he needs a confident, experienced rider with knowledge of youngsters as he is a real worrier in our school. He is very nervous and will rush or buck under the saddle if he's unsure what's being asked. Benefits from being lunged lightly beforehand. After a few minutes and some reassurance he calms down and he tries his best. Forward going. He will pop a small jump. He would benefit from a routine if you choose to bring him back into work. His back has been checked with no problem. Sadly I have neither the time nor the experience to give this special boy what he deserves. He is so loving and has so much to give. 15’1 gelding, Irish Cob, Palomino. 11years old

I have decided to try to find my boy another home. This has been a very hard decision. I bought him as my first horse. He is not fizzy at all but is quite forward and definitely pulls his confidence from his rider. With that in mind he would suit a confident/competent novice. He loves hacking and is fine on his own or in a group. He loves to pop small//medium jumps (I have videos) and is a good, all round sort. Very easy to manage on the yard, a very good dooer and is responsive to leg and voice aids (as I’m nervous, I’ve done quite a bit of ground work with him). The downside (some would say)...he cribs in the stable. It has no effect on him to date, I just check his teeth every 6 months. I’m in no rush to move him on, I can wait for the right home and I’ll continue working with him to keep him fit and active.
