Genuine Irish cob for sale. Absolute Gent on the ground and very easy to do. He has previously been cross country and show jumping and previously placed with his former owner. He would need schooling again as I have used him as a happy hacker. He is super fun and forward but he has brakes. He loves jumping hacks alone and in company. He is good to Shoe, box clip ect. Jack - solid cob gelding 5yrs old 15h

Jack is my beautiful solid cob. He's standing hh and is only 5yrs old. Jack has been backed and now in the process of being ridden on. He walks and trots without an issue. Good soft mouth. Fantastic to hack! Not phased by anything. Needs more schooling but is coming on in leaps and bounds. Jack is not at all a silly boy he's a solid level headed boy who just takes everything in his stride. Jack is fab to lead load, groom, tie up, feet farrier, get etc. Can be a monkey to catch bit literally walks off and within a minute he gives up to be caught. Jack is amazing really he's brilliant with my 18month old she rides him grooms him leads etc and he just follows like a dog. Don't be put off by Jack's age he might only be 5 but rides much older. Jack is for sale only and no loans payment plans etc. I'm happy to hold Jack but I will be requiring a non refundable deposit. This boy is only up for sale as I'm heading back to uni in September and with a child and other horses I won't be able to give him the time he deserves. Dixie, approx 14.2 gelding aged 14. Ex riding school lad who I bought to hack out on but he is just wasted as I am struggling with my pelvis. He hacks alone but prefers company as will call but then just gets on with it. He enjoys exploring and you don't really need the reigns when he knows the route. Dix has obviously worked hard in his life so now deserves a quieter home but is not ready to retire yet, he certainly does not want to teach anymore. He would suit a mature lady who just wants to spuddle about with friends 2 or 3 times a week. Traffic doesn't phase this chap, he's forward going and a very comfortable ride. Will walk past anything with no fuss. Enjoys a good bath and loves being groomed. Lives out most of the time here but does enjoy a good flat out kip when he does come in. He is a great general all rounder and is perfect for someone who would like a happy hacker and to do a bit of schooling, fun rides etc. He hacks with or without company but he does prefer to hack with another horse.
