I started on bass (thinking it would be easier as there were less strings and I wouldn't have to learn chords!) but eventually couldn't help myself and got a guitar and then a drum kit. Initially I didn't take any lessons and tried to work everything out for myself. This worked to a degree but when a friend's Dad offered to give me an hour guitar lesson I learned more in an hour than I had in the previous year! I have played all three instruments in a range of bands over the years and have played shows all over the country. The bands I have been in have supported some fantastic international bands and have managed to release a number of recordings, some of which have been played on local and national radio (including a slot on Huw Stephens' Radio 1 show).
