Pretty Palomino Welsh A mare in North Walsham

Henrhyd Melanie (Mia) is 9 years old, 10 in April. We have owned her for 4 years and have used her as a lead rein. Very sweet little pony who is no trouble, hopefully the photos help show this. She will ride in company and out alone. I walk her in hand between odd rides. Although she is not in regular work at the moment, she is no trouble to just pop a rider on and head out. My daughter is no longer interested enough and so Mia is just wasted. She needs a new job to do. Mia was vaccinated on 31st January so is up to date. Worm count a few months ago was clear, wormed for tapeworm. She was last trimmed by the farrier on 24th February. She has a club saddle, bridle and all her other gear to go with her.

We have owned Mia for the last two and a half years and she has been a brilliant lead rein pony for my daughter, who is now 6, but she has completely lost interest in riding Mia, hence for sale. Mia is a very sweet, friendly girl who loves to be groomed and enjoys being ridden. All last summer I rode out and led Mia to help keep her fit in between rides with my daughter. I also lead her out in hand and currently still do in between a handful of rides with my daughter either out hacking or in the paddock. Mia has been well behaved when my daughter has ridden her off the lead rein at walk doing cones etc. She has just had this years vaccination, is microchipped, has a Welsh Pony and Cob Society passport and is good with farrier. Mia will be sold with a Thorowgood Cub saddle and the rest of her tack, rugs (2 of which were new this winter) and all her other bits and bobs. Please no loans.

The reason we are wanting to move her onto a new home is purely because of myself, my brother and my sister all moving on with university and unfortunately we wont be able to have as much time as wish to ride her. Honey would be perfect for a family who are wanting to learn to ride or who need to move onto something new. 13hh palomino welsh c x mare rising 8yr old, (please read all advert as this is a very hard decision and being as honest as i possibly can be after being lied to about her!!) sent away to be backed in December last year, I got her in June (with full intentions to do work.with then sell) as a ridden ex riding school pony (this was found out to be a pack of lies) since coming to me she has had a lot of work on her confidence and has come on leaps and bounds.. She has settled down absolutely loads and comes to call (most of the time), she NEEDS a one 2 one home where she is the only pony.. as currently stood being wasted and this pony has too much to offer to be stood in a field.. She needs a quiet calm rider with soft hands.. she will excel in any sphere with the time as has an extremely willing attitude towards work and an excellent temperament, I have mainly hacked her out she is fine on roads not keen on big vehicles oncoming but is not silly just mounts kerb!! She loves to pop a good jump and is like a stag.. very good breaks and is snaffle mouthed although is NOT a first or novice pony she is a push button no leg kind of pony and very forward both in and out of school.. very honest pony, with a heart of gold and typical princess diva pony.. NEVER nasty bitten etc.. full story on her past will be given and I would like to stay in touch as I was up until recently keeping her but due to drastic change in circumstances she unfortunately must go!! I cannot be any more truthful about her than already said.. does need jabs doing upto date with everything else.. VERY GOOD DOER lovely ground manners.
