Forward going but safe. He's been to pony club camp and was amazing! Will load in a trailer or lorry first time. Great to catch and with farrier. Name: Honey Breed: Palomino Hands: 13'2 Age: 18 years We have had Honey for 8 years, she has been a wonderful family pony for all ages and sizes. She is great on hacks and has been jumped on a couple of occasions. At the moment she is living out on her own, however has had company of other horses and animals as we used to have 3 other riding ponies in with her. Honey is on medication called Prascend for cushings, this means she needs to take a tablet everyday. It is VERY easy to manage and does not effect her temperament or personality in the slightest. She would need to be kept in a small field or a partitioned off field, with high electric fencing to ensure she does not eat too much sugary grass (especially in the spring and summer). The reason we are wanting to move her onto a new home is purely because of myself, my brother and my sister all moving on with university and unfortunately we wont be able to have as much time as wish to ride her. Honey would be perfect for a family who are wanting to learn to ride or who need to move onto something new. She still has plenty of energy left in her, but is very safe and reliable and easy to control. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable about ponies and horses to pass her onto. 13hh palomino welsh c x mare rising 8yr old, (please read all advert as this is a very hard decision and being as honest as i possibly can be after being lied to about her!!) sent away to be backed in December last year, I got her in June (with full intentions to do work.with then sell) as a ridden ex riding school pony (this was found out to be a pack of lies) since coming to me she has had a lot of work on her confidence and has come on leaps and bounds.. She has settled down absolutely loads and comes to call (most of the time), she NEEDS a one 2 one home where she is the only pony.. as currently stood being wasted and this pony has too much to offer to be stood in a field.. She needs a quiet calm rider with soft hands.. she will excel in any sphere with the time as has an extremely willing attitude towards work and an excellent temperament, I have mainly hacked her out she is fine on roads not keen on big vehicles oncoming but is not silly just mounts kerb!! She loves to pop a good jump and is like a stag.. very good breaks and is snaffle mouthed although is NOT a first or novice pony she is a push button no leg kind of pony and very forward both in and out of school.. very honest pony, with a heart of gold and typical princess diva pony.. NEVER nasty bitten etc.. full story on her past will be given and I would like to stay in touch as I was up until recently keeping her but due to drastic change in circumstances she unfortunately must go!! I cannot be any more truthful about her than already said.. does need jabs doing upto date with everything else.. VERY GOOD DOER lovely ground manners.
