We have one stable that has just come available on our small and friendly yard in Samlesbury. We would like a gelding who is easy to handle and who would get along with George, a rising 4 year old, 12hh cob gelding. Must be able to come down twice a day (morning and tea time) and will be asked to poo pick field in summer and help keep yard tidy. Owner lives on site so they are checked every evening. Small sand and rubber paddock but not full size - 18 x 30 approx. Limited turnout in the winter in a designated trash paddock, but turnout is available in the Summer. He is NOT a first pony so no complete novices please as he does like to take the faster pace. He has done all pc disciplines, junior camps and senior camps. His real love is jumping he has competed in 90cm team showjumping with last owner, and 75cm with us at various venues. Will jump anything from any angle but does like to approach a jump at speed Excellent to load, shoe and clip and has been handled on the ground by our daughter since age 9 with perfect manners. No ailments. 100% safe in traffic and to hack out in company or alone. The jockey that would be suited to him needs to be confident as if pointed at a jump he will go over it cross country or showjumping. 13.2hh 2nd pony/teenagers pony * still available *

13.2hh nf X gelding, 8 years old. Burgandy Passported with nf society and up to date with worming, teeth and vaccinations also just had new full set of shoes. Good to hack alone or in company and in traffic and always been snaffle mouthed. He is used to farm machinery and trains! Will turn out in a herd or alone. Previously lived out happily but currently stabled overnight. He is good to box, shoe, clip and catch (most days sees me and trots over to the gate!). Has previously hunted, done pony club activities and jumping. My 6 year old very novice son happily hacks him on the lead rein and won a mini jumping class and gymkhana games with him during the summer. He doesn't need to be ridden everyday and due to work commitments he is quite often left two weeks or so and then tacked up and taken out. He will occasionally put in a small buck if excited whilst hacking in company behind and hasn't been ridden for a while but is never unseating or nasty and he soon settles- he has never done it hacking alone and has only done so when left for a longer period of time. He has done some basic schooling with me and is starting to work into an outline in walk and trot. He would make a fabulous second pony for a confident child or small adult/teen and would love a home where he can go out and about either to pony club or local shows or just enjoyed schooling or hacking regularly, he is too good to just stand in a field! Hasn't been ridden a great deal over the last few weeks as work commitments have prevented me, genuinely no fault of his own but now the nights are getting lighter he will be hacked more regularly. £ with his entire wardrobe (Griffin saddle, bridle, Neue schule snaffle and as many good quality rugs you could possibly need!) Dartmoor pony gelding

12'2 black Dartmoor pony gelding. Freddie a lovely little pony, he is always first over in the field to greet you he loves a fuss and carrots! He currently lives out with mares and geldings but could also live in. He is very easy to do (load, trim, brush, pick feet out etc), not rugged and is barefoot, laid back manner. Never kicked, bucked or bitten (but can become nippy when given too many treats!) I have sat on Freddie numerous times, in the yard, field and around the lanes but am far to big to expect him to do anything, friends have ridden him around the lanes and he was very good however has a tendency to pick from the hedge! Freddie has been ridden by small children and adults although they have now lost interest and he is left without a rider. He goes on regular walks around the lanes, meeting cars, bikes, tractors etc but nothing seems to faze him. I feel Freddie would make a great childs/small adults pony for someone. Please take note that he will need extra work off the lead rein to stop the hedge snacking. I am looking for around £450 open to offers as home more important than price.
