Ollie is a cheeky class one registered Connemara gelding aged 10 yrs who I bought recently as a novice ride. Although he is very easy to handle and quiet to ride in the field, I bought him as a safe happy hack, but he's actually quite babyish to hack especially when on his own or asked to lead. He will stop and take a little persuasion to go forward again. Can also be a bit spooky. If following he's mainly very good though. As I bought him to be a confidence given for my other ponies who don't like to lead, he is not suitable for this home so would like him to find a new home before he becomes too settled here. I think he would be better in a home that does more schooling than hacking, as he is very quiet to school, never strong or spooky just safe and borderline lazy, or at least will work with his nervousness out hacking, with a confident rider or a lead horse he won't be a problem at all. This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make in my life but I know its the right decision for us both. Here is my stunningly beautiful 15.1 Connemara gelding. I have so many wonderful things to say about this lad. He is the sweetest horse who loves attention and a pamper, and would stand for hours to be groomed and fussed. He hacks out both alone and with company, going first or last. He is snaffle mouthed at ALL times. He has three lovely paces and loves to jump. I’m not 100% sure but think he has hunted out in Ireland previously. He is good to shoe, load and catch and has never reared or bolted. He is known to buck occasionally when excited, but this is nothing major or nasty. He isn’t silly or spooky and is good with traffic but can be abit cautious with tractors. Although he isn't nasty, he is not a novice ride. He is very forward going and can occasionally become strong. However, all he wants to do is please, and do his best of what's asked. He has been turned out with mares and geldings and has never had a problem. He currently stays out in the summer and comes in to be stabled during winter. Would suit an eventer or Hunter and he is never sick or sorry. Great around dogs and children. If not sold he will continue to be ridden and will be hunted during the upcoming season. Harry is a lovely 15hh Gelding. I have own this boy for the last 2 years and he has taught me so much over the time I have had him, as I starting as a novice with no experience at all.Harry excel in dressage as previous owners competed with him and always place in the top 3. However i have had no interest in dressage so he is a little out of practise but after a couple of rides it is like he has never stopped dressage. He is a true gent when out on a hack with others, Never puts a foot wrong. However when on his own he does need a push so would say he needs some one confident on him to give him confidence to carry on,however after 10 mins he is great. Tommy is an 11 year old 15hh bay Connemara gelding. He is for sale due to no fault of his own apart from being out grown. He is not a novice ride but will happily hack out with another horse or within a group. He is good to catch, bath, shoe, load and travel. He is up to date with all his jabs. He has been clipped before but this takes time due to him not liking the sound of the clippers. Will happily jump a course of 80cm, but could easily go more and has previously hunted in Ireland.
