This was our first video camera, which I bought more than 25 years ago for around 500 pounds because it was cheaper than hiring for 40 pounds a day for the children's birthdays and other special occasions. It hasn't been used for over 10 years but I've just checked it over and it still works fine - these things were built to last. All of the video functions are ok - FF,RW, Play, Record, Zoom, viewfinder etc. The power supply/charger runs the camera without a battery fitted and also has connections for TV.  The only battery I have is the original and won't charge any longer. New batteries cost about 20 pounds off the internet. The instruction manual is included as is the large impact resistant plastic carry case and a couple of VHS tapes.

Vintage Philips mains upright tape recorder type EL

Iconic Philips mains tape recorder complete with Mic, Mains lead and audio leads.This is a 4 track machine with a mixture of valves and transistors from s. It is complete and I originally bought it as a renovation project.Just have not got round it.I cant guarantee that it works but it is original,complete and does not go bang when switched on. It is in very good condition (no cracks or splits). Probably needs new rubber drive belts. It has valves and transistors Would make a great talking piece in a retro room.
