Pendle 2 bike towbar Pedal Cycle Rack, For sale a Pendle WSTA2B (high) pedal cycle rack. This rack fixes behind the towball on a car, van, 4x4 and will only carry 2 pedal cycles. As it is the 'high' version it allows you to tow a caravan, trailer etc at the same time as carrying the pedal cycles. 'High' means the pedal cycles are higher in the air and will not interfere, when turning, with the caravan, jockey wheel, handbrake etc,. Different sizes of pedal cycles are catered for. Well made, very strong and safe. Pictures 1 and 2 show the rack upon which the pedal cycles are attached. Picture 3 shows the bracket that is bolted behind the towball. I am selling a tilting Pendle 2-bike capacity tow-bar mounted bike rack. Although the capacity is for 2 bikes, we have used this for 2 adult and a child's bike with no problems. This is exceptionally sturdy and easy to assemble and fit. The tilting feature allows you to access the boot whilst bikes are attached to the rack. Bikes are held in place by both tyres and lean against the vertical support, making them very solid and stable. Straps are included and these secure the bikes to the rack at 3 points. There are no fiddly or gimmicky bike clamps to damage paintwork, or that don't fit your bike. The rack is adjustable to fit your bike in a matter of seconds. Adjusts for wheelbase, frame shape and bike width. Includes light unit and has on-the-ball mounting. The mounting block clamps onto your tow bar using 4 bolts that can easily be removed. This Pendle bike rack is as new although a few years old it was put together & fitted to my car it was never used & has hung in the garage ever since, it is compleat with straps & instructions, it holds two bikes & has fitted lights & number plate bar, apart from a few marks & a small split on one of the upright bars it is as new, this costs around £200 new, I will consider sensible offers, will have to be collected & can be paid for on collection.
