for sale guitar amp by,... Peavey Classic VT 212 amp this amp is spares or repairs only here is all the blurb,... Peavey Classic VT 212 amp The VT Classic is not all tube. It has a solid state preamp section and a tube power amp section, basically the opposite of the Marshall Valvestate which has a tube in t he preamp but a solid state power amp. However, I much prefer a tube power amp/solid state preamp to solid state power amp/tube preamp. And those VT series Classics sound pretty good and Power tubes are 2 6l6GC's and the amp is fixed non adjustable bias so normally you will be fine when changing power tubes without a bias check.
