For sale is my Peavey Classic 30. I've not had it long, but it just isn't what I was looking for so it sadly has to move on to make way for other things. This amp is in full working order, just with some minor points noted below: Aside from the obvious cosmetic damage around the bottom of the wrapping, and the tarnished control panel, it's worth noting that the power lead has been replaced on this with a much higher grade of rubber cable and durable 13A plug rather than the old, degrading cable that was supplied. This cable is held in place by a "P" clip just inside the chassis, as it doesn't fit in the original cable gland. The previous owner also had the power transformer recently replaced. This is a great blues amp, the clean channel is gorgeous and the OD channel can do some fantastic crunchy tones, it just isn't for me. Peavey + w/50 Watt Mod

What more can be said other than this is one of the best metal amps on the market and cannot be beaten when it comes to reliability. This amp has been toured and has a few scuffs etc but besides that still screams like the day it was first turned on. This amp has a watt mod switch installed and has had a fresh pac test & service. It's hard for me to part ways with this amp however it time to make the leap to the digital world (Kemper Power Rack). Looking for £550 and will include postage/delivery within the UK.
