Charlie is a loving and happy 7 year old 17hh registered Irish Draught gelding. He is good to box, shoe, catch from the field and clip and has no vices. He has competed at novice dressage and working hunter. I have hacked him alone and in company which he really enjoys. He is good in traffic but is more confident with another horse to hack out with. He has so much potential, is an absolutely lovely horse and is my pride and joy who is very happy working. He needs someone to give him more love and attention, which due to my work commitments I am struggling to give him. Due to his forward going nature he needs a competent rider and therefore would not suit a novice. He is coming in from summer turnout having been lightly hacked over the summer. I am looking for someone to part share him with me ideally 3-4 days a week and contribute towards his general upkeep. I would like him to stay in the Bury area or nearby. I am looking for an experienced rider for my mare 2 - 3 days a week on a sharing basis. Fern loves to hack and we have miles of off road hacking, she is good alone or in company. I am looking for someone over 21 years of age because of my insurance and a small contribution towards costs. Fern is green to canter in the school and green over jumps as she was backed late. Due to our current sharer going back to Canada in December, we're looking for someone to help out with our ex-racer. He's a 16.1hh, 10 year old, thoroughbred chestnut gelding with the loveliest temperament, very sociable and gentle. Forward-going, good to do in all respects, no real vices, just can have the occasional burst of over-excitement - never nasty, but still wouldn't describe him as a novice ride. Good to school, lunge, jump and pole work; hacking is a work in progress but mainly due to lack of sensible horses to hack with! He's improved a lot in the past 6 months, but can still be unsure in unfamiliar environments. Looking for a calm, gentle and experienced rider to help with bringing him on, schooling, lungeing, hacking etc. Ideally two days a week (weekdays) but even one day would be a help.
