Hello im rehoming my pair of male brother degus due to no fault of their own i have allergies to them and have many other time consuming animals and i cannot give them the attention they deserve. They are a very curious friendly pair happy to be let out having a run around they can be held as much as a degu can. They have never bitten enjoying playing tag with you and having a chin rub friendly boys just need bit more attention than i can give. They come with everything needed large cage with shelving,chews and toys, dust bath, houses and food,treats and sand,straw everything they need they come with. They are use to and dont seem to mind being handled for short periods of time they are happiest with more of it running around exploring under supervision. they get degu safe low sugar treats and chewable edible safe flowers and woods every couple of days to keep healthy and stimulated. Here we have Jack, a single male degu, he enjoys the company of other degu's although he cannot live with other degu's (we haven't tried babies). When Jack first came to us as a rescue he was very nervous and scared, it has taken a lot of time and perseverance to get him to hand feed and trust us. Ideally the person taking him on will have other degu's caged nearby so he still has company and would be willing to keep working with building his confidence. He's a lovely guy, does not bite or nibble at all and im now looking for the perfect home for him. The ideal home will have degus looking to expand their colony, or as a companion for another lone male. He is a dominant goo so will need a submissive buddy, and need owners who have experience in introducing degus as it can be a lengthy process. He comes with a thickets cage but is let out each day all day. I would like him to go to a home which allows lots of free range time as he has a lot of energy!
