Hello, these are 3 of my pekin chickens, 2 black hens age roughly 6 months and a suspected sandy orange potential cockerel whom is 4 months. I'm not 100% sure he is a boy, im just assuming due to his size & tail feathers he is not crowing! There is a possibly risk that the hens could be araucana cross, so they could lay green eggs, I'm unsure which chicks hatched from which eggs! Pair of Pure Breed Araucana's

1 x Pair of Pure Breed, hand reared from Day 1 Araucana's (Bantams). I have an extremely friendly Cockerel and a Hen, who follow you around everywhere and want attention. The Cockerel is extremely quiet (in fact, I don't even hear him Crow.. so far). They hatched on 8th April. They are unrelated as bought eggs from different batches. Hen not started laying yet, but soon will (or certainly when warmer) Free Ranging currently. Looking for a great home. £20 each or £30 for the Pair. (would prefer to stay together as they have a great bond now, also live very happily with my young Buff Orpington Hen - advertised here too). Pair of Lavender Araucana Hens Free to good home

I have a lovely pair of Lavender Araucana Hens that I want to give away to a good home. I'm a smallholder who usually only keeps hens for a couple of seasons before retiring them to the pot! These two hens are such characters, ranging every part of the holding, sharing the other animals food (risking life & limb stealing from the pigs even!) and are generally very amusing in their antics. Only problem is, I can't bring myself to eat them but I don't want to go down the route of starting a hen retirement village. They still lay, so I'm hoping someone will want a couple of additions to their flock just for the joy of having them! Read More
