This old charm has been prepared, primed and painted in a Farrow & Ball Slipper Satin, gently distressed and finished with dark oak briwax. The top has been stripped back to its natural form and waxed for an optimum finish. The chairs have been reupholstered in a designer gingham checked fabric in cream/beige with neutral background and are extremely sturdy & comfortable to sit on. Lovely colours all round. Stunning French Style dining set for sale Beautifully Carved Detail To The Table Legs & Matching Chairs The table top has been stripped, sanded and waxed with a good quality furniture wax to show off the beautiful pattern in the graining of the mahogany veneer, this also gives protection to the wood but care still needs to be taken to avoid marking. The table base, legs and skirt have been painted in Laura ashley Pale Dove Grey Eggshell which is a lovely soft grey that compliments the fabric on the chair seats. The paintwork has also been waxed to give further protection. The table seats six comfortably but would easily seat eight when fully extended, this can be done by adding the two separate leaves. The chairs have been painted in the same Laura Ashley Eggshell and covered with Ironwork Scroll fabric in Dove Grey from the Laura Ashley range. Measurements approximate Table: 68.5" long extending to 88.5" x 42.5" wide x 31" high Chairs: 42" high x " wide x 18" deep. Hand Painted Vintage Oak Dining Table and Chairs

I've stripped and sanded down this solid oak dining table, and hand painted it in Rust-Oleum Antique White, chalky finish furniture paint. It now looks stunning and would look fabulous in a period dining room. I have also finished the six dining chairs, also solid oak, in the same paint. I decided not to wax finish the paintwork, thereby making it a simple task if someone wishes to repaint in a different colour. The top has been sealed with Danish oil. The table measures 195cm long x 152 wide x 75cm high. When the two leafs are dropped the table measures 52cm wide. The middle leaf has a slight split, which we've clamped underneath and which cannot be seen. The cushions and covers are from Marks and Spencer, these are included in the sale.
