Orthoflex endurance cutback. Saddle number SN 852 Unsure of how to measure it but it is not a big saddle, measures around 14 inches from edge of cutback to cantle. See photographs. There is a graze on the cantle and a small screw missing near the knee roll, see photos. Otherwise saddle is in good condition. The flexible panels measure 22 inches and there are 2 sets of good condition booties to go with this saddle. I also have another 2 sets of booties and an orthoflex softsides girth I will be listing separately. This is a great saddle which is comfortable and safe due to the thigh/knee rolls. I have had it on arabs,standardbreds and a lusitano and it has fitted them all due to the flexible panels.

ORTHOFLEX WESTERN SADDLE 18 INS DRAFT TREE EXTRA WIDE

Heartbreaking sale due to my horse no longer being able to be ridden. This saddle has it all. Sterling silver conchos and inlay on horn. Wade tree and true draft - 10 ins. Fits a Friesian, Shire, Percheron or any full-up low withered horse. Insanely comfortable - like an armchair and almost impossible to come out of. Comes with cinch and I will even throw in a saddle pad. There is a new latigo on the off-side which was put on six weeks ago. More photos available and even a video by request. Orthoflex Dressage Saddle 17" fits wide to extra wide

This is a 17" Orthoflex Dressage Saddle, serial number EUKD002 in very good condition. I think it may be a series two but do correct me if I am wrong. This is one of the early ones made by the great Len Brown before he sold the company. Features: Long billets Wool Booties, black canvas like material on the outside, quilted blue cottony material on the inside. Velcro in good shape, stray hairs here and there. Panels measure 22" long, 9.5" at the widest point (front) and 5.5" at the back. I bought this from the original owner who imported it into the UK. She had not ridden in it and I've ridden in it about a year or so. Always kept inside, cleaned and oiled regularly but do not expect new, it is a used saddle and thus shows signs of wear appropriate to use. The wool booties do show some wear, have a few loose threads here and there and one has some small stains on the inside but they have always been washed by hand using wool wash. I never let them get soaked in sweat and stinky before washing them. I did get along with this saddle and have another Orthoflex I adore in which I started my youngster, a Cob X Shire but this one is just a bit too long and slightly too narrow once she started growing outwards rather than just upwards. You know how it is, you end up with four or five saddles sitting around and you only have one horse and one backside on which to sit on them. See all photos. This is a genuine podium endurance saddle. I have absolutely loved owning this saddle.   If you are into endurance, you will know you wont find a better saddle than the Podiums. These saddles have a tree which ensures even distribution of your weight.   The podiums have different sizings to normal saddles so you might need to check some reviews to check this sized podium is suitable for you and your horse.   This is 16" and they are pretty wide (hence why people use them for arabs who are wide). In normal saddle sizes, i use a 17.5" but 16" in this podium is plenty big enough as their sizings are different. Do check before bidding! You can also buy (i am not selling one) the podium numnah where you can change the padding.   In another auction i have a padded seat   cover which was made for this saddle by a podium stockist.
