WWII GERMAN 25 YEAR FAITHFUL SERVICE MEDAL in Weymouth

WWII German 25 year Faithful Service Medal consists of a silvered item Maltese style cross having a black enamel immobile swastika in the center. Between the legs of the cross is a wreath of oak leaves. The back of the medal has an inscription that reads "Fur Treue Dienfte", which translates to "For Faithful Service". Attached to the upper loop is the blue ribbed satin ribbon. It also has a pin for affixing to the uniform. This award was made to citizens who had twenty-five years of service to the country. The medal is in excellent condition but only the base of the original presentation box remains.
