A beautiful Bokhara rug in good clean condition. There's no obvious wear, and the fringes are intact and in good condition. Only had minimal use as it's spent most of its life rolled up and stored (indoors in a heated room). These rugs are hand-knotted, and the photo showing the underside shows how tightly made it is. The pattern is known as "elephant's foot". 8 foot long and five foot wide, this size currently costs around £480 (check online at, for instance, the rugseller website). Persian Rug Bokhara very Large Vintage EX CON

This is a beautiful Bokhara carpet of excellent quality.the wool has a lovely sheen to it. There is no uneven ware and a nice, soft even knotting on wool. I don't know much about old carpets but my partner purchased this at great expense for a bedroom but I changed my mind as it was to big. The rug measures 12' x 9' or 144" x 108" or 366cm x 274cm All sizes are approximate. The shading you can see on pics is camera and the carpet sheen there are no marks or stains or damage. Oriental (Persian?) rug, large, beautiful muted colours, good condition, possibly antique

This wool carpet, on cotton warp, is in a traditional tribal design, with nice thick solid pile. One of the pics shows the reverse. There is a small area of one of the fringe edges where the line of maintaining chain stitch, has come away a little but this hasn't encroached on the edging of the rug, let alone the rug itself. Do look closely at the images, which clearly show its condition. It should be an easy repair to do. It does need a good clean, but as it measures about 260cms x 170cms, it is a large hardwearing and beautiful item to use daily, and at a very good price.
