Oriental (Persian?) rug, large, beautiful muted colours, good condition, possibly antique

This wool carpet, on cotton warp, is in a traditional tribal design, with nice thick solid pile. One of the pics shows the reverse. There is a small area of one of the fringe edges where the line of maintaining chain stitch, has come away a little but this hasn't encroached on the edging of the rug, let alone the rug itself. Do look closely at the images, which clearly show its condition. It should be an easy repair to do. It does need a good clean, but as it measures about 260cms x 170cms, it is a large hardwearing and beautiful item to use daily, and at a very good price. Antique rug, lots of character, beautiful colours

This is a really nice old rug, size 143 cms x 200 cms. I don't know where it's from originally although I think it looks Persian maybe. It isn't threadbare anywhere, but some of the edges need repair and there's a small hole that you'd only see if you were looking for it. I think it probably had a fringe or tassels on either end but it doesn't now. It has been cleaned. The colours are beautiful and rich, not as bright as they look on the photos.
