This is a very rugged and powerful bass cabinet with superb clarity of sound at any volume. The kevlar drivers give solid low frequency response owing to the vents on the front of the enclosure. The highs and transients are very responsive even off axis compared to other cabs I've used and it has a high frequency protection circuit incorporated into the crossover to protect the horns if you overload them which I've never done... it's too loud! Ampeg V4BH bass amp, 2x10 bass cab, 1x15 bass cab

The set up consists of an Ampeg V4BH all valve bass amp head, an Ampeg 2x10 Classic cab and an Ampeg 1x15 Classic cab. All of which were made in the USA before Ampeg shipped production to the Far East. The amp head has a full flight case and the cabs have Roqsolid covers. The stitching on the 2x10 is coming undone but it still protects the cab. Both cabs have Ernie Ball removable castors on them. One of the castors on the 2x10 is slightly loose. The sound of this rig is typical Ampeg - big, loud and warm. This has been my main bass rig for around 3 years, but following the use of a friend's Terror bass I have been drawn into the world of Orange bass amps and I think I'm there to stay now (for now!).
