Here is a late 80s early nineties Italian built columbus steel frame raod bike. large frame size 59. in very good condition for age. few small scraches on falks no rust and a couple of tiny chips on frame which are hard to find. comes with shimano ultegra 20 speed gears and campagnono wheels. saddle is also very good. For those who love the feel of a real steel frame and something not made in taiwan. Olmo was owned by legendary cyclist Giuseppe Olmo who won many awards in the 30s and 40s no offers as some of these frames fetch this price alone

Beautiful Retro Daccordi Designer Road Bike - 57cm - Large - Eroica - Italian Vintage Steel

I really don't want to sell this. I bought it a few years ago to sell on again but fell in love with it. It's beautiful, and fits me perfectly (I'm 6ft with 32" inside leg) and it rides like a dream. Alas, I have too many bikes though and I want to go on tour so I have to downsize. A few things have been improved since these photos were taken, they're nice photos though so I thought I'd use them anyway. The tyres have been changed for hardly used Continental Grand Prix s, these are amazing tyres and have hardly been used. The amber walls look great on the retro bike. The gear cables have been replaced, and the cranks have been polished. I also rebuilt the rear wheel with a used Mavic MA2 rim. Everything works perfectly. The frame is made of light weight Columbus Cromor steel tubing with nickel protection. The chrome is all perfect, there are a few marks on the paint work but no rust. Bassano Italian road bike built and bought from McDonald's Cycles, Edinburgh. 53cm top tube, 52cm seat tube. Frame is -T6 alu and Italian built. Very rare frameset indeed. Geometry is definitely more towards out and out race bike. Also includes- BBB threadless headset Carbon fork Campagnolo Veloce bb (Ita thread) ITM Super 330 bars (40cm) ITM stem (100mm) Wheels are - Front- Mavic Ma3 with Campagnolo Mirage hub Rear - Ambrosio Evolution with Campagnolo Mirage hub. This is a handbuilt item by the very reputable Wheelcraft who are based just outside Glasgow. Both excellent training wheels that spin true and are very solidly built. All items are in used condition so there is evidence of chain rub, cable rub etc. This should not detract from what is an excellent racing frameset and wheels, and will give many more years of use. Its available for inspection should you wish to come and see before buying. I'd prefer to sell frameset and wheels together but will split if required. £175 for everything.
