Beautiful old solid oak desk/ table/dressing table? with old oak chair.The table has a lockable drawer. The top has been sanded and triple waxed for protection.The legs and surround and front of drawers have been painted in a lovely cream chalk paint and also waxed.Measurements are as follows width 107cms depth 55cms and height 77cms.The chair has been painted in the same colour to match,and seat newly upholstered in a pretty bunting material.I spend a lot of time on my pieces of furniture as you will see by the finish.Collection Petersfield Hampshire. The desk shows all the quality of Old Charm and is a very useful and practical piece of furniture, ideal for living room, bedroom or home office. The desk has two deep drawers under the top and three long/deep drawers in each of the pedestals, offering a great deal of storage. There are cactus flower carvings on the front of the drawers. ?The top has three antique green leather scrivers in the top with gold tooling to the edges. The tooling only shows minimal wear. For sale is this very cool genuine vintage old school desk. It's a lovely solid characterful piece - totally original I've just given it a light sand and fresh coat of wax making it clean but keeping its rustic charm. Dimensions are Width 62 Height 70 Depth 45 all cms. () All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Items of this age come with obvious age related knocks, bumps and scratches etc. In my opinion this only adds to the their originality and style. im not sure what period it is from, if any, i loved it and used it for a while, though i think i was had at £, but i really did like it. no longer in use, need the space. lock works but does not lock - the gap is too big (see picture before last), the keye catches a tad but works, a screw is missing (see last picture).
