Join Alan Ranger, an internationally acclaimed and award winning professional photographer this Autumn at the 55 acre Batsford Arboretum (Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, GL56 9QB) on a half or one day photography workshop. The field based photography workshops are aimed to teach you how to operate your digital camera, work off the automatic modes and start using more creative settings and improve your eye for taking a great autumnal shot. Devon Seascapes Photography Workshop -14th to 16th October

Join Alan Ranger for this amazing photography workshop in some the best photographic coastal parts of the UK. The rugged shoreline and beach at Hartland Quay, everyone's favourite - Clovelly harbour, and time permitting perhaps a stop off at Croyde Bay or Heddon's Mouth. Typically we start the day at Hartland Quay, North Devon and meet for breakfast at the Hartland Quay Hotel which resides on the cliff edge overlooking the spectacular shoreline. Hartland Quay is one of the UK's most dramatic seascape locations. Long slithers of rock formations and a fierce tide combine to bring you a fantastic photographic location. After some time working the rugged shoreline and beach we move onto a second location - this will depend on wishes of group, tide times and weather but Clovelly harbour is normally a favourite spot for lunch and some different shots. The afternoon we have more choices to shoot at several local beaches and can choose depending on whether you want rock formations or sand patterns... The Sunday we head part way back and can stop at Croyde, Heddon or any one of the great coastal spots depending on the requirements of the group - choices are sand dunes, large sweeping sandy beaches, large boulder and pebble beaches or rivers and waterfalls that join the sea. Ghost Hunting at Abbey House Museum, Leeds 29th July in

Join Visage Paranormal for a night of ghost hunting and paranormal investigation as we investigate Abbey House Museum in Leeds on the 29th July from 8.30pm until 2am. Built in the 12th Century by Cistercian monks as a gatehouse to the fabulous Kirkstall Abbey, of which the ruins are close by. Abbey House has seen numerous renovations over the years and was opened as a museum in . Since this time it has had it fair share of reported ghostly goings on including a monk which has been seen wandering the Victorian street scenes and disembodied footsteps and voices have been heard in other locations in the building. What will we encounter when we investigate this fabulous building? FREE Hot/Cold Refreshments and snacks available through the night and also a FREE raffle to win some great prizes. You will also have use of ALL our equipment and you will have a chance to take part in various experiments including victorian seances, table tipping and Ouija sessions.
