He was also a piano teacher at the Conservatorio Superior del Liceo in Barcelona, andhelped in the formation of a host of renowned pianists. He has disciples in France and Spain: Pujol, Campano, Sabater, Bores, Alday. In , he took piano and composition lessons in Paris with Zimmerman, and in , he became a teacher in Lyon.
